Caution...(rattle snakes)
It is that time of year to be careful in California. For us who hike or ride bike paths we are already aware of rattle snake season, aren't we? Snakes like to hide in low lying shrubs and tall grasses, probably right where our dogs would like to sniff and potty.

Shearing and hoof trimming...
of the sheep is currently taking place at Long Beach and Anaheim locations. I ask for your tolerance and your help if you happen to be at class while this activity is going on.

Does my dog have to get into the water?

Heat prostration is very serious and life threatening for your dog and can be easily avoided. One can analogize this with over- heating your automobile.

Once this has happened to your dog you will forever be on alert to it happening again. It has a greater chance of recurring. Extensive damage  both hidden and obvious signs are evident. This is a safety issue. Note  that the dogs quickly dry off in warm and hot weather.  You do not have to worry about dirtying up your car if you wait for them to dry.

The answer is yes, why not? We are talking about preventing injury or a death here!
